RHC is very pleased to announce the appointment of Rosslyn Colderley as its first CEO.

Rosslyn will be joining us in January 2025 from her role as England Director, North at Sustrans, a charity that makes it easier for people to walk, wheel, and cycle for everyday journeys, where she has worked for the past 10 years. Prior to this, Rosslyn worked for over 20 years in a variety of charities in their fundraising and development departments, including the Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, the Canal and Rivers Trust and The Conservation Volunteers.

Rosslyn says, ” I am passionate about connecting people to landscapes, to their communities and to each other. River Holme Connections’ transformation of the catchment is impressive and I am keen to bring my operational delivery expertise, fundraising skills and leadership experience to a role where I can make a positive difference to this wild and beautiful place. I absolutely relish embracing the many challenges of this role, bringing a fresh attitude and insight and powerfully delivering the mission of River Holme Connections alongside talented colleagues, supportive volunteers and board members, our stakeholders and local people.”

Lynva Russell, Chair of the Charity which will be celebrating its tenth anniversary next year is delighted to be sharing this news. “Rosslyn has a broad experience in many of the areas important to us in the catchment and that comes with a bundle of enthusiasm. She will be joining the team this year and I can’t wait to work alongside her as we make the River Holme catchment a better place for people and wildlife.”
