There are many excellent charities and groups working within the River Holme catchment to improve local communities for people and wildlife.
Over the years, we’ve partnered and supported community groups, including Greenstreams and Friends of Meltham Pleasure Grounds, helping them to achieve even more, and speed up existing projects. See below for ways in which we can help.
If you run a charity or community group and could benefit from our help and support, please get in touch.
We have a database of dedicated volunteers. We can help out with litter picks, planting, invasive species removal, bird and bat box installation, and more.
We can offer advice on funding opportunities. Where relevant we can also provide funding for partnership projects, depending on the situation.
Japanese knotweed can only be removed by certified individuals. We have volunteers and staff members who are fully trained and certified in the safe use of pesticides.
