We are delighted to invite you to join us for an early evening event with the Calder Rivers Trust, on Thursday 18th February. Full instructions will be at the end of this email.
We are kindly joined by several guest speakers.
Alex Domenge works for the Riverfly Partnership, and will be speaking about the national Riverfly project, and how we can adapt to new ways of training and working during this pandemic.
Andy Bray, introduced recently, is our Project Manager here at Calder Rivers Trust. He’ll be updating us on his planned work with the Trust and how he sees the River Health Project growing and supporting catchment wide improvement.
Jo Kennedy is one of our Riverfly Monitor volunteers on the Upper Calder. We’ll be watching a short film “I am on My Way to The Sea”. A collaboration initially exhibited by ame Huddersfield, that shows us a different side of river life. We’ll return to the group for a chat and any questions.
There will be plenty of time over the evening to talk with each other, but if there’s something pressing please do submit questions in advance via Eventbrite.
Date: Thursday 18th February, 2021
Time: starting at 5pm, until around 6:30pm
Format: We’ll be using Zoom, with a short detour to YouTube.
Please do share this invitation and the Eventbrite link, we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
