Following our successful bird talk, we’re hosting a bird walk in the New Year. Join us on Sunday 12th Jan at 9am, when Chris Abell from Huddersfield Birdwatchers Club will lead a walk looking for birds that live along the river holme at Bottoms Mill, Holmfirth. On the river we hope to see dippers, while in the trees we’re expecting to spot flocks of tits and finches.

Please bring binoculars and make sure you wear sturdy footwear and warm clothes, as we move slowly at times.

We’re meeting on the pavement opposite the Catch Pub on Woodhead Road, Holmfirth.
