Project - River Holme Connections

Woodland and Hedgerow Champions

In Progress

Summary

We are proud to work with many landowners and farmers, to create new woodland and hedgerow networks across the River Holme catchment.

This work helps to create wildlife corridors, links existing woodlands together, captures carbon to help in the fight against climate change, increases infiltration and helps reduce flood risk downstream, enhances biodiversity and also help create beautiful woodlands which improve people’s mental and physical wellbeing.
