Join us again in collaboration with Fair Trader Holmfirth for a fun, family-friendly and educational activity that has been planned for this Easter half-term (5th – 11th April 2021).  All you need is a pen or pencil and a scrap of paper and head out!

The Holmfirth-based Family River Walk and Quiz consists of a selection of 12 photos randomly fixed within the trail. Along with these photos are fun facts about river wildlife. All you have to do is enjoy the fun facts and try and answer the questions. Jot your answers on your scrap paper. 

The trail is short and fun to do, giving everyone a chance to identify some of our river wildlife. The trail passes through the Sands area of the park. Get the kids out for some fresh air and admire our little section of the River Holme.

The trail finishes at the Old Tollhouse, which houses Holmfirth’s Fair Trader shop.  In the shop window you will spot the last photo and question. It will be well hidden within the window display!

Once you have completed your answers, post it through the shop’s letterbox with your family’s name and contact details. The winning family will be chosen at random.

To win some extra goodies for your family, please take a photo of your family outside Fair Trader, post it on social media and tag us in it.
